Reign
It was You.
You who spoke time and space into existence.
You who wove them together and set them in motion.
And when the Lamb takes the scroll from Your hand
God the Father, every creature in heaven and on earth shall praise Your name
All powerful, the foundations quake from Your anger
They will proclaim You holy
They will yield You glory
They will bestow You honor
They will revere Your power
Rebirth
It was You.
You put the principalities and powers to shame.
You spilt Your blood on the cross, giving the wretched tree its fruit.
And with every believing heart and confessing tongue
Son of God, You unleash waves of grace so tall they put Babel to shame
Be exalted, O rejected One, to the cornerstone's mantle
They will fall on You
They will be broken to pieces
They will be born again
They will be made new
Revival
It was You.
You were the fire in the bush.
You were the blaze that guided the people of the covenant through the drylands.
And with every sacrilege they indulge in irrevocable blasphemy
Spirit of God, may you have mercy on them that know not what they do
Rise up, and melt the scales from their eyes, the stone from their hearts
They will hear Your voice
They will speak in unknown tongues
They will utter prophecy
They will dream dreams
