Who am I, that You should be mindful of me?
I am not worthy for You to see my face.
What have I given, that I should receive so much?
Nothing, for I am saved by grace.
I see You descending from the sky.
Arms stretched wide from the east to the west.
Glory swirls around You, God of Light.
Jesus, Immanuel, even the clouds join Your symphony of presence.
Who can come against You? Who can stand against You?
Who can bare even to see Your face with these mortal eyes?
You have come for us and You will come for us.
To give us new bodies, to give us rest, to give us life eternal.
To fulfill Your ultimate promise, for Your Word never fails.
Indeed, Your majesty makes the brightest look dim and dark.
Nothing compares to the glorious light of God.
Glory, glory, glory to the Lord God Almighty.
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.
Even death could not hold Him, despite its boasts.
The enemy's laugh turned to pale despair.
Who could overcome He who wipes away armies with a breath?
Who could overcome He who overcomes the grave?
Who could overcome the Son of God, the Word made flesh?
He is the one who holds the name above all names.
Granted to Him by the Father, who knows the hour of His coming.
How glorious a day that will be, sweet to the lips.
When His plan unfolds like a flower and mortality fades away.
When we see true, unadulterated, reality.
Life, as He intended. The glory of heaven no longer just reward.
The glory of heaven shall become life.
How hopeful, how glorious a day.
So look, and see, the Son descends from the sky.
Look, and see, the glory swirls around Him.
Look, and see, the darkness is defeated.
Look, and see, the Lord has come.
I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good.
Glory, glory, glory to the Lord God Almighty.
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.
His love endures forever.
